This is a small, independent project run by one person, so there is no support desk, no contact form, and no ticket queue routing your note to a team. Every page here is written and maintained by hand, and anything you send is read by the same person who does the writing.
The quickest way to get in touch is on social media, where replies tend to arrive fastest:
- Mastodon — @boringinline@mastodon.social. Public replies or direct messages are both welcome.
- GitHub — petrolpricesnearyou. Open an issue for anything technical: a broken link, a page that will not load, or a factual correction you can point to.
- Hacker News — threads that mention this site, if you would rather discuss a post in the open.
What to write about
Corrections and tips are the most welcome messages of all. If a post gets a detail wrong, if a page featured here has moved or shut down, or if you have found a strange, single-purpose, or wonderfully pointless corner of the internet that deserves a write-up, please send it along. A suggestion that includes a working link and one line on why the page is worth a visit is the easiest kind to act on.
If you are a maker whose work has been covered here and you would like something changed, corrected, or taken down, get in touch and it will be sorted out quickly and without fuss.
There is no mailing list and nothing to sign up for, so do not expect an automated reply. Messages are answered by a real person, usually within a few days, and sometimes sooner. If you simply enjoyed something here and want to say so, that is always good to hear as well, and a short note on social media is the easiest way to send it.
